# Get started with xMoney

This page guides you through the preliminary steps for setting up an xMoney test account. Once complete, you'll be ready to begin testing your xMoney integration.

## Sign Up for a Test Account

To test and integrate xMoney products, you'll need a Test Account. Visit https://merchants.xmoney.com/sign-up and sign up. After registration, you'll gain access to the dashboard.

## Sites & API Key

Upon account creation, you will receive a `siteId` and a **Private Key** for authentication and secure communication with xMoney's servers. You can find your `siteId` and Private Key in the merchant account under the "Sites" menu. Clicking the ID column opens the site details window.

You can find your **Private Key** in the Website details view.

Keep your Private Key safe!
Your Private Key is a sensitive piece of information. **Never** share it publicly or expose it in client-side code. Anyone with access to your Private Key could potentially make unauthorized transactions on your behalf.
