# Connect xMoney documentation to AI tools

The xMoney Docs MCP server gives supported AI assistants direct access to the latest xMoney documentation and API descriptions. Use it to find the right API, inspect endpoints and authentication schemes, or retrieve implementation guidance without leaving your editor.

The server provides documentation context only. It cannot create payments, issue cards, access your xMoney account, or make API requests on your behalf.

## Connect

The server uses Streamable HTTP at:

The public documentation does not require credentials or custom headers. If access to protected documentation is enabled in the future, your MCP client prompts you to sign in and returns only the content your account can access.

## Cursor

Select **Connect MCP** above and choose **Cursor**, or open the Cursor command palette and select **Open MCP settings** → **Add custom MCP**.

To configure the server manually, add it to your project `.cursor/mcp.json` or global `~/.cursor/mcp.json`:

Save the file, return to Cursor's MCP settings, and confirm that `xmoney-docs` is enabled.

## VS Code

Select **Connect MCP** above and choose **VS Code**, or open the VS Code command palette, select **MCP: Add Server**, choose **HTTP**, and enter `https://docs.xmoney.com/mcp`.

To configure the server manually, add it to `.vscode/mcp.json`:

Open Chat in Agent mode, select **Tools**, and confirm that `xmoney-docs` is available.

## What your assistant can do

The available tools let an assistant:

- list the APIs published in the xMoney documentation;
- search guides and API reference content;
- list the endpoints for an API;
- inspect an endpoint's parameters, security requirements, and examples;
- retrieve an API's security schemes or complete OpenAPI description.


For example, ask:

> Using the xMoney Docs MCP server, find the endpoint for creating a card payment and explain its authentication and required fields.


Your assistant should use an `xmoney-docs` tool and base its answer on the current documentation.

## Troubleshooting

- **The server does not appear:** Confirm that the JSON uses `mcpServers` in Cursor and `servers` in VS Code, then reload the editor.
- **The connection fails:** Confirm that the client supports remote Streamable HTTP MCP servers and that the URL is exactly `https://docs.xmoney.com/mcp`.
- **No tools are listed:** Make sure the server is enabled in your client's MCP or Tools settings, then reconnect it.
- **Sign-in is requested:** Complete the client authentication flow. Do not add API keys, partner keys, or payment credentials to the MCP configuration.
